Diego Valerio Crestani

Born in the heart of Veneto region, land of ancient manufacturing traditions in glass, ceramics, wood, marble and textile fields, after achieving a technical education, he began his professional path precisely in the textile sector, as a leather and fabrics production plants tester in Europe and China, during the second half of the ‘80s.

Then he entered glass and ceramics fields, with SAFF s.r.l., by testing kilns for firing handmade products in Italy, France and former Yugoslavia.
Thanks to this experience, he will start his long collaboration with Johnson Matthey Ltd — a British multinational company that deals with sustainable technologies — where, in charge at the Speciality Coatings division, he will first work as Sales Executive and then Sales Manager for Southern Europe.

Fifteen years later, having already achieved a consolidated technical and commercial experience, he decided to get back in the race by exploring a new sector — marble and stone — expressly creating Marmocosmesi; it is a research and development lab where a team of engineers, artists and designers creates unique pieces and small series of cladding and furniture and architectural accessories, offering its services to several markets with particular attention to Arab and Eastern Europe areas.

Today, the technical and commercial know-how, acquired over the years, aim at all manufacturing fields where the Made in Italy can express at its best.
The innovation of craftsmanship — mainly manual — together with the elegance of the proposed creations, addresses to all clients eager for novelty where the Italian “savoir faire” is the largest added value.
